About Lilly Sallomi
Lilly Sallomi is a life long baker with a degree in Baking and Pastry from the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. She had a distinguished career in pastry working at Gramercy Tavern, Momofuku Milk Bar, and Tartine before returning to college to earn a bachelors degree in Applied Nutrition and Food Science from San Jose State University. She is now working as a Nutrition Specialist at the YMCA of the East Bay helping children ages 0-5 discover the joys of eating fresh and wholesome foods. She now primarily bakes at home for friends and family, preferring cakes and cookies that are as easy to whip up as they are to share.
