Visit Corto Olive Oil Company during the heart of their fall harvest season for an intimate look into the world of premium fresh olive oil produced in California. Your tour will include visiting the vineyard-style olive groves, touring their state-of-the-art mill to see the art and craft of production and learning all about the freshness of olive oil in a guided tasting.

This is an exclusive adventure, as Corto is not open to the public.

As a bonus, lunch will follow, hosted by Corto at Pietro's Trattoria (approx 10 min drive from mill, 317 E Kettleman Ln, Lodi, CA 95240)

What is not to love about California olive oil?

Some important notes:

-Dress code: long pants, long sleeves, closed toed shoes with low or no heel. Jewelry is also not allowed inside the mill, so guests are asked to remove any watches, bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings which may be left in a secured space during the tour.

-Since Corto doesn't typically host tours, no olive oil will be for sale on site but you can purchase online at (https://corto-olive.com/) or find at selected local SF stores (Berkeley Bowl and Market Hall Foods).

-In order to protect proprietary information concerning the olive oil business disclosed on the tour, all guests are asked to complete a standard non-disclosure/confidentiality agreement upon arrival.

The opportunity to see the mill in full function is weather dependent. If there is significant rain (which can affect flavor and quality), the mill may pause its production, but the tour will still be on.
