Dorie Greenspan will again visit with Bakers Dozen, although this time on Zoom. Her latest book (her 14th) titled Baking with Dorie: Sweet, Salty, & Simple, is now available everywhere. There are about 150 recipes for all types of sweets and for all seasons.

Dorie will be in conversation with our own Bakers Dozen member, Jen Nurse (Civic Kitchen owner).

Dorie always is FUN. Dorie is always full of ideas and she LOVES to share. Don’t miss a warm conversation with Dorie and Jen.

With the publication of Baking with Dorie, New York Times bestselling author Dorie Greenspan marks her thirtieth anniversary as a cookbook author. She has won five James Beard Awards for her cookbooks and journalism and was inducted into the Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America. A columnist for the New York Times Magazine and the author of the xoxoDorie newsletter on Bulletin, Dorie was recently awarded an Order of Agricultural Merit from the French government for her outstanding writing on the foods of that country. About Jen Nurse

Jen Nurse led cooking classes for kids and adults at Tante Marie’s Cooking School, 18 Reasons, and elementary and middle schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area before founding The Civic Kitchen. A prolific and curious home cook, she studied pastry arts at the Art Institute of Seattle. Upon graduation, she left a15-year telecommunications career behind to open an award-winning boutique bakery in Seattle. In San Francisco, Jen worked as a pastry chef and recipe developer before enrolling in Tante Marie’s professional culinary program and opening her cooking school.
