Hungarian Flódni
with Rick Rodgers
Austro-Hungarian baking deserves to be better known by American pastry chefs, and the Jewish cuisine of Hungary is especially delicious. In this class, Rick will teach how to make Flódni, a multi-layered cake with the classic Magyar flavors of apricot, walnuts, and poppy seeds. He learned to make from bakers in Budapest when researching KAFFEEHAUS, his classic book on Middle European baking.
