Meet Maya Fezzani who comes from Lebanon, Syria and London to California where she learned to make baklava! Her beautiful bakery/café, LeVant Dessert in Menlo Park, is filled with Middle Eastern puddings, cakes, and pastries: levantdessert.com
Maya took the plunge and purchased Oasis Baklava in 2020 and has been baking ever since.
Her daughter keeps her up to date with the 20-year-olds by informing her of the latest pastry trends, like Dubai Chocolate bars and Basque Cheesecake.
Join us, as we get to see her in action, producing her handcrafted Middle Eastern sweets. And, we will be tasting her fabulous baklava as well!
